For many people, just sitting back and admiring these full artificial Christmas trees is all that they need to do. However, you can make this a bit more fun with certain holiday treats that you may not have during other times of the year. And we have a few treats that you may want to buy or make yourself to eat while sitting around your full artificial Christmas trees.
1. Peep Christmas Treats
Every year, peep marshmallows are popular. And while they were known as an Easter treat, they are quickly becoming something that is also seen during the Christmas season. Especially, those that are flavored like gingerbread. So, take these peeps, some Krispie rice cereal and butter, and make a decorative treat that everyone will love. Line a pan with peeps, cover with rice cereal, then take one stick of butter and cut this into squares on the top of the treat, then repeat this process for another layer. Bake at 350 until this is melted, stir once you get these out and let them cool. The end result is Krispy treats that are going to be Christmas colored.
2. Sugar Cookies
Grab some sugar cookies, whether you bought these at the store or made them yourself. Add some sprinkles, icing and the like for custom Christmas cookies. The process of making these is going to be something that the entire family can get in on.
3. Brownies
You cannot go wrong with brownies and hot chocolate around the tree. It can easily become the go-to treat that you can have during this time of the year and enjoy the fruit of your labor, while also thinking about the things that you need to do for the holidays.
